Progress in small increments
Mood:  cool
The PT raised my arm almost completely over my head without me screaming and crying too much today. I can touch my forehead with my left hand, yippee. There will be a big celebration when i can do my own ponytail.
Also discovered today that i can type with both hands. That's nice. The emails will be a lot easier to write now. I hated hunting and pecking with one finger. boring and slow!

Also, i get to go back to work on Wednesday. Sure do miss the kids. yahoo.

Name: Michael Moon Bear

Hi’ya Mary,

Thanks for re-sending your blog address (which I had lost). I zipped over to read the current adventure … Bali … four different languages spoken …big $1.00 bottles of beer …Glass bottom boat … monkey chant (which is way cool, I absolutly LOVE that!) … spice farm … gigantic prawns … and then … WOAH! Man-O-Man!! AAaaaiiieeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! MARY FALLS DOWN!!!!! TWICE!!!!! I spent the next few minutes reading, and literally gasping, with a few, “Oh Man!”’s thrown in. What an experience. When you go somewhere, you really experience it all!!

After I got over worrying about you, reading the hospital experience was fascinating. You had to bring so much yourself. Bandages? Pillow?? Garbage can liners??? Urine bag???? Heck, if you had to bring your own doctor as well, you might have been better off in a Motel 6! That was pretty crazy … thanks for providing all of the (insane) details. And by the way, just how did you lose your privilege of returning to your apartment for brief visits? “You can go … no wait, you can’t go. Um, O. K., you can go again … for now.”

Anyway, I am soooo glad that you are back at your apartment and mending well. What a completely great adventure this has been. Thank you so very much for being so dedicated in sharing it with us all.

See You In July!

- Michael
