Welcome graphic

I arrived in Japan at the end of July, 2003 and the time has just flown by.

I'ts March 30th, 2004 and i'm just getting around to updating my website. There were so many photos on my first page that i thought it best to do a new page and link the two.

Please browse both sites when you have the time.

I have tried my best to show as much of the country and culture as I can capture on film. I am not a great photographer but have given it my all. The new technology of digital photography and the web is overwhelming. Please forgive me if i commit a few technology blunders!

Enjoy and explore.

I hope this stirs a longing for places unfamiliar and cultures unknown.

Good luck on your own adventures.

love and peace,

Children's Peace Memorial

One of my goals before I die was to bring a string of my origami cranes to this monument. This memorial was inspired by a a hibakusha, an A-bomb survivor, a little girl named Sadako who was a leukemia victim and died at the age of 12 years old.

If you haven't read the story I highly recommend reading "Sadako & the Thousand Cranes."
